This is an accomplished diet for puppies that require additional calories for energy. Perfect for dogs on the go and for canines that live in extreme climates that have a need for high levels of nutrients. Prey Drive is an animal meat-based formula that includes 5 high quality animal proteins. It is a special low ash, low fiber, high performance grain free diet and contains high levels of highly digestible ingredients and concentrated sources of nutrients essential for growth. Fresh chicken is derived from chicken, exclusive of feathers, heads, feet, entrails. Herring is a nourishing source of protein providing natural sources of magnesium, iodine, selenium and essential fatty acids (EFA). EFAs are good skin and coat conditioners and herring is thought to be beneficial for arthritic pets too. We add L-carnitine which is an important nutrient that acts as a transport for EFAs and assist in the cellular production of energy. Chicken liver is high in protein, fat and vitamin A. Vitamin A plays an important role in supporting eye health. Wild dogs and wolves consume small quantities of organ meat such as liver on a regular basis because they usually eat all or most of their prey. Prey Drive feeds 40 – 60% less than other pet foods. This may be our best performing formula! The smaller size kibble size makes it good choice for toy breeds and puppies. |
